Fresh orange juice and delicious coffee for breakfast, with a fantastic view of the castle from our room. Conveniently located near a swimming pool just 3km away. Impressive building and friendly staff. Outstanding experience, highly recommended.

For a village location with wonderful views of valley and castle, it was very clean indeed. The rooms were of an interesting design, and we were not disturbed by sound of other guests. Also good to see the locals using it as a resource! We booked an extra night, as we needed a better weather November day to see Granada.
We think that the dining room could have been warmer somehow. They said they were having problems with central heating, but could have just been this recession....... Bedroom plenty warm enough!

staff very kind, nobody speaks english really, only a lady, who is at reception sometimes, but it didn't seem to be a problem. we only stayed 1 night and had meal there. a lots of local typical spanish go there for a drink and food. it was a different authentic experience, we both loved the food. in your room you get mini toiletries, that was a nice touch. the spa was great too. It has 4 stars, but not in the sense of a sparkling city hotel. The location is great of you are using the motorway (just off) and has a castle you can visit on thursday mornings.

Hotel was old and quaint. Bathroom and shower were good.
Food was dreadful and quite expensive. Wine was also poor. Due to lcoation of hotel no option to eat elsewhere. Possibly the worst dinner we have ever had in a hotel. Lunch was also terrible - couldn' t eat it! Breakfast was OK - cold meat and cheese so couldn' t do too much wrong,

This hotel is opposite the Castillo de La Calahorra and is easy to find and well located
Butter is not available for breakfast despite repeated requests for it. The accommodation does not occupy a palace-fortress dating from the 16th century, it is opposite it, and it's impossible to visit the castle without making a phone call which the reception staff refuse to help with.

Very well ocated for the castle, but only open Wednesdays AM/PM, not much else to do other than taking in a very rural yet interesting Spain village

Chose this hotel for a business mixer, had all the amenities I needed - restaurant, bar, meeting rooms, gym. Great experience overall.
Missed having a reliable and fast internet connection for my work needs.

During our stay, we were impressed by the rustic atmosphere and tranquil environment. The room was comfortable and the bathroom well-equipped. We enjoyed the local experience of dining with the friendly locals and the complimentary whiskey in the private balcony.
The hotel internet connection was poor, and we couldn't use our phones for search.
